Minigames Overview

There can only be one minigame in a room at a time. Trivia Tracker functions identically to a minigame, so it must be ended with ~tt endgame before a minigame can be started (and the minigame must be ended before regular Trivia Tracker can be resumed). A minigame being active will allow the commands on this page to be used; they will only affect the current minigame.

Minigames are to the Trivia Tracker Leaderboards as officials are to the trivia ladder. Each time you host a minigame it will have its own points which will be erased when the game ends, but can contribute to the permanent leaderboards. The commands here only affect the current game’s points, not the permanent leaderboards (commands that start with ~ttl affect permanent leaderboards).

Command Description
~minigamenew [minigame] Starts a new Jeopard-E-run minigame. While they are not necessary to use, they can make some minigame much easier to host. TT must be stopped using ~tt endgame before a minigame can be started.
~minigameend Ends the current minigame. You must end your minigame before TT can be started again. All temporary points stored in the minigame will be lost, so make sure to record them before ending it.
~ttbtimer [min seconds], [max seconds], {message}, {room} Starts a timer with random length. Please a) yell at me to make a proper TTB page and b) yell at me to move this command from here to the TTB page
~plmax [number of players] Allows players to add themselves to the player list by typing /me in. The number of players that can sign up this way is limited by the number given. Give either no number or zero to turn the signups off.
~pladd [user1], [user2], ... Adds the specified users to the player list.
~plremove [user1], [user2], ... Removes the specified users from the player list.
~pllist [html/nohl] Displays the player list. The html option will display the list as html. The nohl option italicizes names to prevent highlighting.
~plshuffle [nohl] Displays the player list, in a randomized order. The nohl option italicizes the names to prevent highlighting.
~plpick [nohl] Selects a random player from the player list. The nohl option italicizes the name to prevent highlighting.
~plclear Clears the player list.
~addpoints [user], [points] Adds the given number of points to the user. Negative numbers are accepted. These are separate from TT points.
~addpoints [user1], [user2], [user3], ..., [points] Adds (or removes) points from multiple users.
~showpoints Lists all the current players and their points. The names are italicized. These are separate from TT leaderboard points and are specific to the current game (could be Blitz, Picture Trivia, regular Trivia Tracker, etc).
~clearpoints Clears all points. These are separate from TT points.
~sethost [user] Sets the current minigame's host. They will be able to use commands to manage the minigame such as ~yes and ~no.
~modchat [on/off] Turns modchat on or off. When turning modchat on, all players that have no rank will be promoted to voice. Removing players while modchat is on will demote them if they originally had no rank. When turning modchat off, all players that were previously promoted will be demoted. The host of the game will also be promoted/demoted if they have no rank.
